Kodiak (974) was named after the type of plane in which he was flown to Central California. Kodiak (974) was shy to start, as was his buddy, Sierra (990), who was also flown in from Boise. Kodiak (974) eventually outgrew the buddy system with Sierra (990), venturing far and wide beyond the San Simeon release slope! He has been seen soaring with Muursh (957) and Tich (995), becoming a respected member of his community.
