Bike Tire Condor Earrings

These custom earrings by Kate's Upcycled Creations are hand-painted and made out of upcycled, used bicycle inner tubes. The tubes have been gathered at bike repair shops in Santa Barbara, thereby diverting them from the landfill. Bicycle tube earrings are durable and can have the look of metal or leather, but are light as a feather. Because of the ribs and curvature of bike tubes, and that every earring is hand-crafted, no two sets of earrings are exactly alike!
Kate's Upcycled Creations carefully cleans and cuts every inner tube. Designs are painted with acrylic, water-based paint and finished with a light varnish that is moisture resistant. The colors will hold up in water, but for best longevity of the design, avoid prolonged exposure to water.
