Sirius (894) embodies the devilishly handsome, bad-boy style of Sirius Black from J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. While in captivity, he was constantly antagonizing the older condors that visited the area by biting and flying at them. This "loose cannon" nature also seemed to be popular with the ladies, as he was caught canoodling with Minerva (881).

Like his namesake, Sirius (894) is independent and is frequently seen sitting by himself on perches, probably plotting his next mischievous move. Since his release into the wild, this lone wolf has traveled throughout the central California Condor range but spends the majority of his time near the San Simeon Sanctuary.
