Yulissa joined Ventana Wildlife Society in the Fall of 2020 as an intern for our Education and Outreach Program and later moved into her role as an instructor and bi-lingual educator. In August 2021, Yulissa joined VWS full-time as the Wellness Through Nature program coordinator - since then Yulissa has been working on outdoor programming including family camping trips, single-day adventures, and nature classes that focus in nature connectedness. In Spring of 2025, Yulissa became certified in Guided Forest Therapy and is excited to share belonging in nature together.
