Sophie was born in central California before moving to Utah where she lived with her family surrounded by beautiful mountains and desert. After graduating high school, she returned to California to play volleyball for two years at Hartnell College in Salinas. She is majoring in environmental science and is passionate about environmental conservation. She is currently attending CSUMB and working at Ventana to teach younger kids about  the benefits to getting outdoors, since she was always exploring state parks with her family growing up and wants to share that experience with others!
