Johana is a first generation college graduate with an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about educating the youth and community about the environment. Johana has been working with VWS since spring 2023 as a Part- time Instructor. She has worked with Wee Ones in the Woods (ages 4-7) during the summer months, as well as with school year youth and family programs.  She is excited to continue with VWS, helping communities access the outdoors.  In her free time Johana likes going on hikes, watching the sunset at the beach, and spending time with her cat, Patches.
