Artemis (915) was named for the Greek goddess of hunting and wild nature. This mythological figure is also the patron saint of girls and young women. To us, this meant that Artemis (915) had some "big shoes to fill" in order to live up to her namesake. Artemis (915) was at the very bottom of the captive hierarchy, but she was gaining more confidence each day. She was the shyest member of her cohort and was hesitant to join group activities, preferring to watch from afar. Tragically, Artemis passed away on January 16, 2022.
