Marie Antionette (913) isn’t the toughest bird in her cohort, or the most dominant, however, she does have a distinct air of superiority about her. This condor takes great care in her personal hygiene and can often be seen preening her feathers to perfection, or taking a bath, even when it’s a bit chilly outside. She is regal and distant but will fight to get what she wants - usually a delicious morsel of food.
After her release from San Simeon in 2019, Marie Antionette (913) began spending most of her time farther inland and is frequently seen at Pinnacles National Park. While she’s still slightly too young to breed, she’s received a lot of attention from eligible bachelors in the park, which she seems to enjoy. We expect great things from this haughty, young condor!
