Condor (823), aka "Khaleesi”, was named after the Queen of the great grass sea, in the popular series Game of Thrones. Condor (823) earned this title for being the sole female in a cohort with three other males in the San Simeon flight pen. She had a fiery disposition and could hold her own.
She was observed with severe symptoms of lead poisoning at Pinnacles National Park and swiftly transferred to the Los Angeles Zoo for care. Unfortunately, her case was too severe and despite their best efforts to treat her she passed away.
