This wild-fledged chick was the first chick to fledge in 2015, and about a month later he was observed soaring through heavy winds and landing like a pro (Boreas was the Greek god of the strong north winds). This strapping young bird was frequently observed by biologists and volunteers, who quickly noticed his feisty personality! We are excited that he has officially joined the flock, welcome Boreas (773)!
