Condor (1095) hatched in a redwood tree with an ocean view to mom, Condor (550), and dad, Ferdinand (652). Condor (1095) was very well fed and had a large crop every time biologists went to do nest observations, giving the chick the nickname “Jabba” amongst biologists for their resemblance to the beloved character from Star Wars.
