After two years of volunteer work she transitioned into a California condor recovery internship with U.S. Fish & Wildlife in Ventura county. She dedicated herself to tracking the SoCal flock from May 2014 to September 2015 when her internship ended. From 2016 to 2019 she Worked on consulting projects in San Diego, the Tehachapi mountain range, the Mojave and Colorado deserts, and the San Joaquin valley. In fall 2019 she gained experience in restoration management for endangered species at Kern National Wildlife refuge with U.S. Fish & Wildlife.
