Samantha is an outdoor and educational enthusiast who joined Ventana Wildlife Society in Fall of 2022 as the Teen and Teacher Coordinator. Recently, Samantha was teaching in Italy and, during that time, she had an internship with the United Nations as a Curriculum Development and Instructional Design team member. Samantha graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Learning and Pedagogy and an emphasis in Bilingual Multicultural Education. She is currently working on a Master of Science in Instructional Design from Grand Canyon University. She believes and models the humanistic teaching philosophy while using the Universal Design for Learning and the Culturally Responsive & Sustaining Pedagogy frameworks. Aside from her passion for education, she is an avid hiker, traveler, runner, camper, animal lover, craftsperson, sports watcher, and wildflower admirer.
