Rocio is currently a student at CSUMB, majoring in Environmental Studies with a minor in Global Studies. Born and raised in Watsonville, CA, she has developed a strong passion for giving back to her community in any way she can. Her experiences in nature have inspired her to encourage other young people to spend time outdoors and experience the positive impact it can have on mental health. In her free time she enjoys a trip to the beach, hikes in Carmel or spending quality time with her family/friends. ​
