Areas of Expertise

Elaina grew up in Carmel, California, where the salty ocean breeze mingles with the calls of sea lions basking along the rocky shore. From an early age, her surroundings nurtured a deep appreciation for the natural world. As a student participant with the Ventana Wildlife Society, she developed a lasting passion for wildlife and environmental stewardship that continues to guide her today. Now a senior at Baruch College in New York City, Elaina is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. She is dedicated to creating supportive, engaging experiences for students while inspiring curiosity, connection, and appreciation for the natural world and the remarkable creatures that help sustain it.
