Class Programs for Teens and their Teachers
Teens involved in alternative education programs are often facing the harsh realities of poverty, homelessness, drug addiction, violence and more. They need and deserve opportunities to de-stress in the beauty of nature, help to make better life choices, and guidance to be motivated and empowered to contribute towards a better community. Our program partnerships with alternative education programs complement in-class curriculum, and increase watershed literacy, school attendance, and grades.
This program is funded by NOAA B-WET.
