Condor (1317) was hatched on April 25, 2024, by parents Shadow (209) and Minerva (881) in a remote nest location in central California. Biologists are tracking this chick by monitoring their parents. No visual confirmations of this chick have been made yet. We hope that this now-fledgling will show up to feed at our Big Sur Sanctuary or the Pinnacles National Park release site so that biologists can confirm that they are alive and well. We'll be sure to keep you posted.
