Narra (1233) has been a patient and quiet bird among her 2024 release cohort. She was often the last of the rookies to feed while in the release pen and has stayed this way as a free-flying bird. Narra (1233) is never too far from other birds; she can be found perching close together with her cohort and the other release birds from 2023. Even though she was the first to leave the pen on release day, Narra (1233) hasn’t travelled very far since. Like her namesake, the endangered Narra tree of the Philippines, she is rooted to her home on the San Simeon slope and bonded to her cohort.
