Fennec (1208) is named after the threatened fennec fox, native to northern Africa. Much like his namesake, Fennec prefers to limit his interactions to only those within his cohort, and will occasionally spend a day or two on his own to get some peace and quiet. He is the most dominant bird of his cohort, always letting the others know that he has priority access to any food available. Fennec also shows a preference for perching on rocks, and has a few favorite boulders that he frequents around the release pen.
