Ventana Wildlife Society began condor releases in Big Sur in 1997 and in 2003 initiated a second release site at Pinnacles National Park in collaboration with the National Park Service (NPS).
Red Tags - hatched in 1997 and 1998
Yellow Tags - hatched in 1999, 2000, and 2001
Blue Tags - hatched in 2003 and 2004
White Tags - hatched in 2007 and 2008
Black Tags - hatched in 1999, 2000, and 2001
