Group Visits
Ventana Wildlife Society regularly hosts school, conference, and other groups at our bird banding lab located at our Research and Education Center in Andrew Molera State Park in Big Sur. A rare opportunity to meet and watch wildlife biologists at work, we can taylor your visit to fit your groups interests. Choose from age-appropriate banding demonstrations, ornithologist-led bird walks, condor presentations and viewing tours.
We realize that transportation costs are often the most challenging aspect, and sometimes the deciding factor in organizing a field trip. Ventana Wildlife Society is currently able to provide transportation assistance to high schools in Seaside and Salinas who would like to visit our Discovery Center for a bird-banding demonstration or a California condor presentation.
